Marmot Lodge - Harrietville Group Accommodation

“We found Marmot Lodge was perfect for our large family gathering. The rooms are comfortable and nearly all have amazing views. It’s comfortable without being luxurious and is therefore fantastic for the kids to explore and play without worries. The living space and kitchen were very functional for our large group and the two long dining tables were ideal. We were disappointed about the central fireplace no longer in working order but we understand why and the hydronic heating did the job just fine. Firewood for the fire pit was easy to source locally. The lodge is set in a very central location with a stroll to the town and the pub and easy access to the mountain and endless walks. David was accomodating with easy communication and kindly allowed an extra night at the last minute so we could watch the Grand Final together. It’s not easy to find large group accommodation but we’ve found ours! We’ll be back.”

“Another great weekend away at Marmot Lodge! David the host made our Easter getaway so comfortable and enjoyable....again! He is so lovely and friendly and is always on hand with a quick text if I had to ask him for anything. The large home is perfect for my whole family and extended family with a bedroom for everyone and multiple bathrooms. What more could we possibly want when we walk in. It was so clean and the games rooms is a positive for all the kids and of course so was the outdoor fire pit which we used every night toasting marshmallows. The views are something special too along with the surrounding walks to the rivers where our kids jumped in and had a swim everyday. Will definitely be back and I would highly recommend this property to anyone that whats a nice relaxing holiday.”

“We just held our extended family reunion weekend at Marmot Lodge for the fifth time in a row - it was great, as usual. Plenty of space for 20+ adults to eat, hang out and lounge, but also enough bedrooms that everyone has their private space to retreat to. The lodge is nice and warm and the kitchen comfortably serves us all. Great location and close to cute pubs and cafes. Big thanks to Dave for hosting! We look forward to the weekend every year.”

The lodge accommodated our group of 5 families well and provided the perfect space and facilities for our young kids (aged 4-8) to thoroughly enjoy themselves. It was the second time we have stayed here, and we will be back for sure!”

“Amazing weekend! The lodge is huge and well equipped for big groups. The rules are very clear since the start of the engagement so if you dont agree with them is 100% on you to stay in the property. David was always fast and responsive with any questions we had. The entire group was happy with the lodge and the nice and quiet enviroment. This is our 2nd year using the lodge and we highly recommend it... for sure we will be there next year”
